Visualizing Healing

Visualizing Healing

My body hurts but it’s okay. I will picture the part of me that needs healing and visualize all of those cells brimming over with life and light. I am detaching from any pain I feel and allowing my mind to go to a peaceful place. As I do this, the pain in my body seems to lighten and becomes more boundaried. But the boundaries are porous and outlined by a shimmering energy. I am sending good energy to that part of me that needs healing. I realize that I have pain, but I am not my pain. I have a wounded part of me but I am more than my hurting part. I am part of an ever alive, generous and vibrating universe that wants me to heal. A universe that is constantly in its own state of healing. A universe that knows how to get better when it is sick and whole again when it feels splintered.
