My Emotional Body

My Emotional Body

I recognize that my body holds onto feelings. In fact, emotions occur in my body first and foremost. My feelings go through my body in the form of body chemicals. When I’m stressed my body gets hyped up with adrenaline. That adrenaline makes me want to do something, to run or fight or withdraw. When I’m feeling peaceful, my body eels peaceful. Soothing chemicals like serotonin low through me and help me to eel calm and smooth inside. I can work with my body to create more of the  the kinds o body chemicals I want and less of the ones I don’t want.
My thoughts have power in my body.
In a disordered mind, as in a disordered body, soundness of health is impossible.  ~Cicero
