Letting Go and Just Being

Letting Go and Just Being

I will let my thoughts float today. I can’t meet my commitments anyway, it’s time for me to let go, to just be. As I lie here I will visualize my life just as I want it to be. I will see myself enjoying the activities of my day, doing more of the things I enjoy and fewer of the tings I don’t enjoy. Sometimes I create my own stress doing things I could just as easily not do. Today I will visualize what my life would look like if I were to let go of extraneous activities and have more time for me, more time to have fun, to play, to enjoy my home and my family and friends. Today I will picture my life the way I would like it to be.
I can create a better me, a better life
I reckon being ill as one of the great pleasures of life, provided one is not too ill and is not obliged to work till one is better.  ~Samuel Butler, The Way of All Flesh, 1903
