Managing Added Stress

Managing Added Stress

Stress affects my body and my mind. When I am under stress, I tend to do the same thing more intensely, but less efficiently. Stress undermines my state of health and makes me feel stuck in non productive, compulsive routines. I lose my spontaneity. Stress chemicals do everything from lock in the storage of fat cells to making my hair and nails brittle. Stress adds nothing to my day and it takes away a lot. I will take my day today one moment at a time, one breath at a time, recognizing that when I respond to a situation though a stressed head, I only make it worse.
Today I understand that stressing unnecessarily only hurts me
