Surrender

Surrender

Today I will place the problems I cannot solve into the loving hands of my Higher Power. I will surrender. I will stop straining for a solution that is not readily coming. Problems get solved in God’s time not mine. If I wait for each and every problem to be solved before I feel good, I will walk right by my own life. I have to learn to live in between the solutions, to live the day that has been given to me rather than the day I don’t have. When I live the day that I am in, when I stay in the present, I find, mysteriously, that is where God lives, too. There is no better time to be with God, to live close to spirit, than right now. Today I will give myself the gift of time.
God lives in each tiny moment.
I may not have the life I want, but I am learning to live the life I have.
